    Default 25NL 3barrel bluff in a 3bet pot

1 Not sure if this should go in HU or if it doesn't matter because its 25nl. I started up this table at 25nl FR and have been playing with villian for a bit. He has been raising pretty much all his buttons and I figured it was a good time to see how he reacts to a 3bet. I have played with him before and he is a 25/12 with a low fold to cbet over 400 hands. Is this a good 3barrel? I cbet the flop planning to barrel alot of turn cards. The river I thought he may have been on a FD but most of his range is medium pp.

2 Same villian from previous hand. This is any easy shove right?

I'm confused by what you're saying and your hh. You talked about him always opening from bb but hero is bb? If there hero is bb here and there are checks in front of those bets I think his c/c means he is drawing to the flush so a river shove after it hits is spewy. If your sb like i think you were talking about i like the pf 3bet and the flop c bet. Your reping a big pair that blank on the turn deserves another bet but once that gets called you have to believe he has a big pair beat. I think the second bullet is good if he was floating you or had middle pp's like you thought but the turn call says to me he either has a set or the straight and isn't too scared. Even if he is scared of the flush, you haven't been playing the hand like a fd at all so that won't get much credit.

    +1 - QFT.

When pulling a bluff, you always, ALWAYS have to ask the question whether your bluff looks believable if you were in your opponent's shoes. And you have to be honest with yourself here.

are you guys serious, how else would you suggest playing a FD in a 3bet pot HU?

if you're gonna go for a triple barrel here, lower bet sizing could really behoove you here. sure, you would never bet 3 into 5.50 on this flop for value, but he's a 25/12 so he doesn't know this, so so long as he's not aggressive enough for a lower bet sizing to notably increase his chances of bluff raising. you actually WANT his calling range to be wider when you're going for a double barrel because it increases your turn bluff's success rate.

if you're betting goes 3 into 5.50, 7 into 11.50 and 15 into 25.50, your bluff now needs to work half as often for it to be profitable.

ALLLL that being said, i can't say the Jc is a great card to barrel. you say that his range is mostly medium pp's, and that just tells me that you haven't thought much through ranges here (in other words, you just told us that 77,88 and 99 make up the majority of his range).

Give hero A K and ask how he'd play it.

Might want to mention where the stats are from. Additionally, the first hand is exactly how you'd play a flush draw most of the time, unless you check turn which is probably stupid.

The stats are from FR, and yeah I would play a flush draw the same way. I 2 barrel alot and don't do much 3bareling, but I thought this river was a good river to do so. Just wanted to see if everyone else agreed. Thanks.

    Hand 1: He folded
Hand 2: He called with AA and I flopped a J LDO
