Oh hai, this is basically me trying to relearn poker from the bare basics. Going to be doing a tonne of work off the table which is something I've had a lot of trouble with lately and it's basically destroyed my game completely. My main focus will be HU/6m. Probably 50NL for a little while with some 100NL on the weekends or playing soft opponents @ 100NL HU. Will try to post most of my huge pots and some standard spots I'd like to talk about that I think I or a lot of people have trouble with and probably don't play optimally most of the time. The content probably won't be too indepth but I may decide to write random bs that some of you might find useful.

I'll also write some weekly/monthly goals in the near future. Motivation has been lacking for me but I think I'm really ready to learn this game and actually put in the effort it requires to become really good.

Some quick random bs off the top of my head that I guess are kind of like goals but are things that are obviously +eV and I should have been doing for like ever now.

1. use nittier brm for HU ffs
2. time down postflop a lot more so you can actually make good decisions
3. focusfocusfocus aka don't ever play any street robotically due to IRC/msn/browsing
4. start posting hhs so good players can berate me
5. do regular session reviews especially after long HU matches
6. post more outside the BC/on 2p2/talk to more people who actually good @ poker about poker
7. put is some volume ffs
8. make an effort to make regular blog posts even if I'm running bad

So I just won the BC HU tourney thing v settecba in the finals who I thought played well but ran kinda meh, and didn't apply a lot of counter pressure in spots I felt I was pounding a good amount. I thought I played really good except in the some of the middle/end which is an affect of me not putting in a tonne of volume in the past months and losing focus in long sessions. This should be pretty easily fixable and one of the thing I'll work on in the near future. Other then that I kept my focus pretty well, got to my time bank a lot etc.

So I didn't get to play friday because lolfriday is always busy with lots of people coming in from town and shit but wednesday I played some reg who I feel I had a giant edge on. He quit me after about 150 hands. I reviewed the session with IRC, well mostly m2m and feel I played really well based on the reads I had. I actually didn't open 100% of buttons like I usually would because I feel more and more like regs at these stakes are folding way too little to be able to play total trash profitably. Also if they are going to defend their big blinds a tonne no matter how much I open, there's no need to open a tonne more OTB unless they are playing very weak OOP postflop and giving up lots of small-medium sized pots.

Thursday was good also, got lots of action HU across HU/6m/FR games. I played some regs and felt I had a very large edge with a lot of them multi tabling and just trying to start games. Also sitting in games like this waiting to either
A) Play some fish HU because the regs on late actually take a little while to spot fish
B) Play some reg who I likely have an edge on because they are multi tabling and can't really analyze my weaknesses
is soooo profitable for me anyway. The worst result I can really have is to start a table with one fish usually on my right because of my seating choice which ofcourse isn't a bad result at all.

In my thursday session I played some spazzy supernova HU who was down like 17k over 1.1million hands or so. Was pretty lols. Something interesting though, this guy chatted a decent amount saying shit along the lines of "KJo PF" WOW and stuff when i'd flat his 3bs so anyway in one hands he b/cs 85 w/ 5h on 743hhh and binks his 6 and I have AhA and shove the turn cause we have ~1/2 pot left or w/e. Anyways near the end before he quit he complained about how I ran like god then said something along the lines of "you can't even fold gutshots, that suckout w/ 85o was sick". I seriously think that he thought I was the one who sucked out in this hand and it was just his way of telling himself that he was actually running bad in the session when he was actually playing absolutely atrocious. I could be wrong here but I don't think I'm completely off.
