villain is a weakish kind of tag, plays somewhat passive postflop for the most part, folds to 3bets often. isn't really up to getting involved in any sort of wars, i.e. straightforward.

i like it. His river block is just that, you have the nut flush blocker so he's gotta be a bit scared. Most likely you're stealing vs a split pot which is kinda cool.
I'm interested in preflop, what's your flatting range in mp vs an ep open?

Calling seems too passive and letting him off the hook. Going all-in seems like a bad long term play as anything we beat will be very hard pressed to call. I probably min raise the river. If you're confident you're ahead, he may spazz out and push himself with something of marginal value or even air and you can call that. If he has any hand with showdown, we just eeked out some more value that we likely wouldn't with a push. If he has air or something very marginal, he'll probably fold, but we risked less than the all-in and gave him a price that was harder to walk away from.

This confuses me... are you actually trying to fold out A9s, AQ?
With his bet sizing I would like a small-ish raise a lot more because it looks like QK, KK, JJ, AJ, AT a whole lot, and the river bet/fold is not the strengh of the 100NL tagfish.
I would not count on him folding AQ... much less sets. But I would expect him to call off a gayraise with pretty much anything he bets. - and ldo the bet sizing looks fairly weak. idk if you have notes on that but I'd be surprised if he shows up with 2pair+ here.

Are u shoving for value or bluff?His range on the river includes Top two,sets,TPTK,TPGK and flushes(less likely).If you think that he is capable of folding everything but flush,then it's an awesome play even though ppl rarely shove over a weak river bet with made flush. Have you seen him make a big river fold before? Any history would help a lot in this situation.Just keep in mind that these bad FR tagfish indeed make lots of hero calls with sets and Top two in my experience.

Pretty sophisticated play. I think making it like 51 would be better if you were going to bluff. I usually call here but I'm generally a pussy with ambitious pairs turned into bluffs.

Flop is quite an easy fold though...
