AQ in bb 50NL FR

Default AQ in bb 50NL FR

    Villain is 17/15 over 500 with a 17% fold to 3B and c-bets 80%

Not too sure if I should be 3B'ing here pre would like to hear thoughts, I think it makes the hand a lot easier to play. I am planning on c/r'ing a lot of flops.

I decide to c/r flop as he's c-betting a ton and I need to protect my hand.

I decide to b/f turn, but would like to hear thoughts on this ie sizing etc...

not exactly the reason to c/r here, never use the reason 'to protect my hand' again and you'll add like 1ptbb to your win rate.

don't bet the turn (are you betting for value?)

you need reads and a plan to c/r top pair for value (what you will do on turn/river etc), and it is clear you had neither.

3 bet pre might be ok since he won't fold weaker hands like AT,AJ,KQ etc given his stats - you should also be able to cbet and take it down on most flops since you represent a strong range and can value on A or Q flops because he will have hands that can pay you off.

I think c/c this flop is better than c/r since we don't want to build the pot oop with just 1 pair, I think we can call a turn bet as well but not a river bet unless there's history/read.

i think you would be better off checkraising draws here if you are looking to exploit a weak cbet range. something like any two clubs, 89, J9, JK, AJ.

Yah I figured this hand/thought process was bad which is why I posted.

So generally this is a c/c situation. His turn c-bet as PFR is 47%

I think c/c turn is ok but we'll prob have to fold a lot of rivers no?
