2/4 - my straight is better than yours - good shove?

-villain in this hand is Bruut on stars, decent reg that plays mostly straight forward
-dynamic this session is that I'm playing pretty aggro, 3betting him a lot in the blinds vs his button on several tables
-stacked him once, flatted AK to his blinds 3bet and stacked his JJ on QJTx board
-whats the best river line? c/c, overbet, or c/shove? (I'm assuming nobody is folding)

i can see you checking 7x on the turn, and it seems like he'd probably bet 7x hands to get value from sets/overpair + heart hands. so i like it

It's really just a terrible bet by him, the biggest thing you should get from this hand is to check to him in similar situations.

Do you think his bet is terrible because he bet in the first place, or because of his sizing?

Would him betting around $170ish be better?

I agree with this. I think raising smaller is more profitable and maybe even slightly more credible.

if ur pretty sure he doesnt have the board beat, shoving is CLEARLY better than a small raise. its not even close. ur line doesnt rep having the board beat very well so you have to give him a bad price. if ur line didnt look too retarded to be for value then you could raise smaller.

I dont get what villain could play that way except small pp with a heart like 88 99 etc. Even with those I guess he would have bet the turn in position with overpair and FD.
I dont see what hand he can call a 3 bet preflop, call flop, not bet turn and bet river.

Obviously river bet does not make any sense except for 1 hand 77. In this perspective I like our AI on river.

It's two regs with history and both lines look FoS, so that's a hard question to answer. A lot of merit in getting the last word in here.

I'm pretty much saying to him "your line looks FoS, but so does mine. So you can call off $600 if you want, and hope for a chop and that I didn't slow play 7x or a flush"

I agree with Vi's previous post, it's also much more likely I have 7x even here, cause once I check turn villain probably doesn't expect me to have a flush, so he'd mostly bet 7x I'd imagine.

Also, I'm assuming that while some ppl do slowplay turned flushes etc, they are more likely to do it on a much less coordinated board than this one. I definitely have a c/c range on this board, so ppl should/would bet.

I think c/fed is better but shove is pretty dece. He certainly doesn't have a flush imo, and he doesnt seem like he has a 7 when he checks the turn but his river bet is so small it hard to believe that he'd do this as a bluff.
