    Default Find out why I suck at teh pokarz

    Hai guys. This is gonna be my new blog because my last one was mainly for making money and getting rolled for 25nl, and I'm mainly going to use this one for improvement. I might post a monthly garf in here or something, but this thread won't really have many results. I recently got a 1 hour coaching session from carrotz and I recommend him for other 10-50nl peeps looking to improve. One of the larger leaks that he pointed out was that I wasn't cbetting enough (no, I'm not one of those weaktight regs that cbets 90% of flops and gives up after that). Spots where I wasn't cbetting where I should be are where I have a hand that have like really margional showdown value, but trying to check it down kinda sucks(mainly OOP). I'm focusing too much on trying to bet for value/bluff that I'm not seeing profitable spots where I kinda have to bet because my other options suck alotz. Another leak that I've found from the coaching session was that I'm not thinking about my opponents entire range when i valuebet; so make some improper bet sizes targetting the x part of his range and not the y part, if that makes any sense.

    And ldo leak is that i suck at handreading and am missing a shiton of thin value by going through an occasional spot where im not thinking about my relative hand strength.

    Anyway I'm playing on 25nl stars and absolute, 6m and fr. I'll try to be a little bit conscious of these leaks while I play and try to post hands here later. Also gonna be posting other things in my game that i realize makes me suck.

    Good luck newfeesh, you seem to have really taken exactly what you should have from the session we did, plug those few leaks and you'll be heading on 50 and 100NL in no time! Keep plugging away bra.

    logged 5hrs today, back to the grind at last . Should get rolled for 25's tomorrow as long as i don't runbat all day. I haven't really put in any volume lately because of too much shit irl, but I'm still gonna try to find time to work on my game. completed 6/15 days, can't wait for it to be over 'cos currently I can only really play on thursdays and every other weekend. Also making meeting wimenz irl & teachers are crazy=lol. Also found a new band that I listened to while grinding today YouTube - Skillet - Awake and Alive.

    fuck playing 25nl on FT. what is it like 40% rake capped at $10? just kidding. but seriously, i think the rake is worse for 2nl-25nl on FT than stars. because FT caps at $3 at 25nl whereas stars caps at $2 (at 50nl i think both sites rake the same). not sure how having rakeback would affect that. anyway, gl gg nh etc
