Default 100nl top pair decent kicker but can i extract value from this board?

    villain is a 24/18 with a 0 AF
I feel like in this spot I barrel twice so his range has to be something like Kx, flushes and Asx... so with Kx hands though he probably is not calling with K9 here more likely KT, KQ, probably 3bets AK (even though over 54 hands he has not 3bet any which I know means nothing)

so is this a spot where we should maybe check the river or take a more pot control kinda line on the turn since really the only thing I can get value from is the Ax all the Kx that call I beat except for the occasional time he has KJ and we tie?

I just wanna see how my thinking is on this hand and to see what I should be doing or what I should be thinking during this hand.

there are a lot of flush combos he would a 3 bb raise from BB... he could also be on KQ, KJ, K10,
1010, 55.... so i think you are behind.... just c/f the river

I appreciate the feedback but did you read my post? and how could he be on a lot of flushes here? wouldn't he want to raise it earlier in the hand? I'm not saying he isn't because obviously flushes are in his range but I don't know if they make up the biggest portion here

i reread the post,i cant see him playing Ax on this board unless A is spade. on that board i see him play like this a K10+, sets, small flushes like 78ss... that why i said check.

is just my opinion, i am still a beginner , but this how i see this hand,

    Lighting sweet moneys on fire.
Turn bet is good. Don't mind a small river bet. Vs a competent player of course check imo.

not only could he have some better hands like sets and slowplayed FDs b/c ppl play dumb, but you're just not getting called by worse often enough.

    so check back

i don t think it s THAT clear of a check.

sure ppl play dumb in a nitty way (flatting low flushes and sets 3 times sometimes) but they also play dumb in a stationy way and convince themselves that we have the bare and end up calling the river with like 99 with a spade. betting river isn t bad imo if you have anything remotely aggro as an image
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

    sample of hands?

If he has a low AF, this makes it much more of a check back. Like what alex said, he could be slow playing sets as well as flushes.

he has an AF of 0 over 54 hands so not exactly accurate but I guess I'm assuming he is a somewhat competent (probably not) tag... I only get value from a few hands here? since he probably isn't calling with K9s so I can get value from like 99 and that is it? cause I would expect to get some decent value from KT but the T is on the board.

C-bet size is pretty bad when there's so many worse hands peeling this flop etc.

I thing youre betting a bit weak on that position. $3.75 preflop, then $5 or pot after the flop! he is obviously waiting for some draw that didnt came on the river. I woulda bet on that river by the way. Just a weak bet for him to call outta curiosity
