    Default AA with 200bb stack

OK so this guy is 3betting the top of his range KJ+ and 88+. In raised pots in general he is pretty passive. I have not caught him bluffing multiple streets although he has called a 4bet with T5s early in the match and bluffed turn with it after flop went cc. It is really hard for me to tell if I think he is capable of a big river cr bluff. That said the reason he checked this river is because he had only 2 seconds left on his time bank so I don't think it was intentional. WHAT THE EFFFF do I do on river??????

    Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (2 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

    Hero (SB) ($238.60)
    BB ($533.85)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A, A
Hero bets $3, BB calls $2

    Flop: ($6) Q, 3, 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $4, BB raises to $14, Hero calls $10

    Turn: ($34) 7 (2 players)
BB bets $28, Hero calls $28

    River: ($90) 3 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $77, BB raises to $488.85 (All-In),

Oh and he's DEFINITELY not calling with 93 or Q3 pre

You really think he c/r Qx then c/c the river?

I think your river bet is too thin. As played I'd fold and feel pretty good about it.

Nah you gotta bet river here. Could be Q9 or QJ or whatever.

If you really dont think he is flatting QQ or 99 pre I don't see how you could possibly fold this. At the same time I would never ever think someone would bluff me in this spot. I mean your essentially saying if you fold that your folding to quad 3's everytime. I suppose this could be A3 or K3s too?

    Yeah I call.

i feel like you're betting too strong on the river.

And given your reads i think you have to call but if this was like a check/instashove i'd just think he had quads a lot and fold. He could also have Q3s

Cause you'd think he'd most likely have to bet if he felt pressed for time.

I reckon if you called you'd be right. But probably I would actually fold because I'd rather play another day and try to get him when I know I got him.

If he was an agressive player previously in large pots I would think he was bluffing the 3's and really had Q-Q and 9-9 and wanted to scare you, but from your description of him yes I agree I don't think he has what it takes to do a big river bluff and you could get stung by trips.

The biggest thing I remember, when you get pocket aces don't expect your going to win, and have the intergrity with yourself to turn them down.

    You flat call the turn.

I would have raised the turn and seen where I was at.

Either way I am checking behind on the river. People are always asking this kind of question ie "I bet the river and do I call the shove" why are you betting the river in this situation if you are not sure if you are calling a push?

When all is said and done you only have 2 pair (and one is on the board)

because he is barely ever pushing since he is representing unlikely hands in his preflop range as well as quad 3s or a bottom pair rivered trips...

call, he is not repping enough.
I got more flava than fruitstripe gum

I would want to play another day and try to get to know him better so I'd fold. I'd just try to get him back later when I have good reads on him instead.

I think I'd trust your read here and call. You've said you don't think he's flatting pre with any of the possible boats at this point. He could probably do this for value with Q9. If I had to guess I'd put him on TJ or 33, I just don't think his line makes a lot of sense with anything else and it's hard to hit quads.
If he's a thinking player, and you're folding this what does he think you can call with here? I don't suppose you ever get to this point and have a 3, occasionally you've got a boat, but I think the biggest part of your range is similar or weaker than what you have now. So ya, if I was villain and thought you'd fold something as strong as aces to this line I think I'd ship all my air on this river.

    cheers
