Hey there, I have a few friends who play online poker, and suggested I give it a shot as I always seem to do well in home games. I understand that the two are very much different, but here I am none the less.

I see from the other blogs here, that people are doing the run up from the Micros...I decided to try this myself.

I started last week with 30$, 15 buyins at 2NL...and I'd like to see how far I can go. So far I've gotten 6793 hands played, mostly of fullring 2NL. Really pleased with how I started, I've run at 9.9 bb/100. My Bankroll is slowly growing...Hope to keep up the progress and make the move to 5NL before I hit 20k hands.

My plan is this:

Multi-table full-ring 2NL, until I move up to 5NL at 120$. To speed up the process, I can shot take two buy-ins as long as it leaves me with 30 buy-ins at the current level.

Ex. At 70$ I can shot take 2 tables of 5NL, as it would leave me 30 buy-ins at 2NL.

Once I hit 5NL, It will be the same thing, only with 40 buy-ins at the current level.

Ex. At 220$ I can shot take 2 tables of 10NL.

I'll be moving up to 10NL at 300$, (assuming I'm beating 5NL at a decent rate.)

I'm open to suggestions, as this is new territory for me. Hope to be around the on-line poker world for quite awhile!!
