Default PokerStars 90-Billionth Hand Promotion - $1m give away!

POKERSTARS TO AWARD UP TO $1 MILLION IN CASH
    PRIZES DURING 90-BILLIONTH HAND PROMOTION

LONDON, UK – November 22 – PokerStars is poised to deal its 90-billionth hand in just over a week, with the world’s most popular online poker site set to award up to $1 million in cash prizes for players dealt into promotional milestone hands.

To celebrate the next step on PokerStars’ Road to 100 Billion, cash prizes will be awarded to players who are dealt into every one-millionth hand from 89,700,000,000 to 90,000,000,000 at regular real money ring game tables. The first milestone hand is expected to take place on Saturday, November 24, with the final Mega Milestone hand due to be dealt approximately six days later.

The 90-billionth Mega Milestone hand will award one lucky player with a prize of at least $20,000, in addition to other cash rewards accrued through play at the table. The biggest prize awarded so far went to ‘edroqui07’ from Colombia, who pocketed $42,820 for winning the 75-billionth hand.

    How the prizes are calculated
Players dealt into a regular milestone hand win a cash prize of $60 for every VIP Player Point (VPP) earned at the table in the previous 50 hands plus a $20 base prize. The winner of the hand has their cash prize doubled. So, for example, if a player had accumulated 20 VPPs in the previous 50 hands, their prize would be as follows:

    · 20 (VPP) x $60 + $20 (base prize) = $1,220.

    · If the player wins the hand he has the total doubled to $2,440.

When it comes to the 90-billionth Mega Milestone hand, though, the rewards are much greater, with all players dealt into the hand awarded $1,000 for every VPP earned in the previous 50 hands, plus an additional $10,000. The winner of the hand sees his cash prize doubled, meaning the minimum he could pick up is $20,000, but is likely to be a lot more if he has taken part in lots of hands. In this example, if someone had accumulated 50 VPPs for example, they would win the following:

    · 50 (VPPs) x $1,000 + $10,000 = $60,000,

    · If the player wins the Mega Milestone hand then the total is doubled to $120,000.

Well, it won't be a U.S. player winning this thing. What a sad state of affairs. Thank goodness for Bovada, Merge, and Revolution Gaming else I would be in a world of hurt.
I can tell you where I'd be. Probably spending my life on Facebook playing stinkin Farmville or Zynga poker.
It takes 2 years to learn to talk, but a lifetime to learn when to shut up.
