Old Has Been want to Start Again on Pokerstars (From US)

I stopped playing poker on April 15, 2011. I just cashed out my PokerStars account an left. But now I've got that itch again, and I'd like that extra income that came with poker in the past.

Has anybody started a new account on PS from the United States recently? I'm hoping to set up an oversees bank account and also hoping to find a permanent proxy that will give me a static IP address (for a fee of course) so I look like I'm from the country my account is in.

Anybody do something like this before. Can it work?

Look on 2p2 too. Apparently some people have been banned and had their accounts confiscated for playing on Stars using a VPN. Unfortunately it looks like Stars is not an option for us until the US government lays down clear regulation and licensing guidelines which could be a long time.

Why don't you just play somewhere else that actually allows you to play? Trying to use a VPN/etc.. to try and bypass Pokerstars country restrictions has 'bad news' written all over it. You won't be too happy when you make a big score and they confiscate all your winnings and ban you for life from the site.

First of all: NO POKER IN THE GODDAMN COMMUNE!

2nd: Having disposable income is a terrible reason to play. If you can't be happy with starting from the bottom, you are going to end up there.
