Tough? spot preflop with TT

The BTN is an unknown, he's sitting short though and the 3bet size looks a bit fishy.

The BB is 19/16 with 8% 3bet and squeezes a lot (19% squeeze so far, but only ~650 hands total on him).

Perhaps it should be a 4bet pre to make it easier to play (ie. dissuade a squeeze), but that doesn't really seem like a particularly valid reason to 4bet.

Once it does get squeezed and the BTN jams, I'm thinking jamming to trap the BBs potentially dead money in the pot could be good, but he does have a lot invested already and the pot will be huge so he may not be able to fold anything, of course he can also easily show up with JJ+, but I'm assuming his squeezing range is at least somewhat bluff heavy given his stats. If I jam, and the BB folds, I'm getting 1.6:1 with the overlay from BBs dead money.

Do you get it in, or just fold?

UTG stats are important too seeing as you cold call a 3bet over his open with him still to act. Assuming this guy is opening from utg wide enough, I can call tens here to 3bet, but if UTG is raising tight in this position, good chance of him squeezing too, along with squeeze happy bb.

As played, pretty easy fold if you ask me. I expect to be dominated far too often to make this a viable call.

I mean what's the best case scenario when we call? Compared to worst case scenario? And average? How often do each happen relative to each other?

I suspect we'll have one dominated sometimes, but never both. Often we're facing 3 overcards, which isn't bad considering the price, but usually at least one of them is dominating us imo. I doubt we're much over 25% equity here vs reasonable ranges.

I don't think I can continue to this kind of action. I mean yeah, BB has a high squeeze, but villain is squeezing a 3bet and a call, not a raise and a call, plus BTN shoving makes it unlikely that there's some FoS going on in here.

Clear fold with anything that's not KK+. AK might be a slightly tough spot. TT is not.

I dunno, I can at least agree this is the absolute rock bottom of our "tough spot" range here... 99 is snap fold, and tbf TT is indeed an easy fold, but we're at least going to consider stats and reads here, rather than just default fold like 99-

I'm folding JJ too, but not snapfolding. I prob fold AKo, it's AKs and QQ where I'm stuck. My point is that TT and JJ *might* be a call against certain villains, so that's why I'm not snapfolding, I'm assessing my notes and/or HUD stats. I'd snapfold 99 in this spot vs anyone.
