Default 4b AKo, turn nfd, plan?

villain is pretty solid. 13-10-3, 65% fold to 3b, 5% 4b. 62% W$WSD. We battle a bit and he 3bets me more than most, he has a fold button, he also knows i spew sometimes.

preflop seems standard, once he calls he looks like JJ+/AQs/AK, weighted QQ/KK. 4b sizing?
Turn is interesting. I can definitely have the nuts here. Half pot or shove?

    BTN ($26.14) 105bb
    SB ($19.67) 79bb
    BB ($29.12) 116bb

    Pre-Flop: ($0.35, 8 players) daven is UTG
daven raises to $0.85, 4 folds, BTN raises to $2.25, 2 folds, daven raises to $4.90, BTN calls $2.65

    Flop: ($10.15, 2 players)
daven bets $3.40, BTN calls $3.40

    Turn: ($16.95, 2 players)
    daven bets $??,

To me it looks like he got you in the bag

If he is solid, I don't understand your 4-bet, sorry

How about checking Turn, and hope to get a free card? It seems to me you are just giving him money.

I'm very much a noob here, so just ignore me probably..

My gut reaction is what is with the flop bet sizing?

Also, if he 3bets often are lower pp's definitely not in his range? wouldn't 88/55 have have very nearly the right implied odds to call the 4 bet here? It would be very thin, but if he thinks you can spew?? With that in mind I feel like the 4bet needed to be a touch bigger if you're going to play it that way.

Based on your thoughts, I think a turn shove is better than half pot (i wouldnt have the balls though at this stage) - you want to force him to show down with QQ/KK right? because that would be a really hard call for him to make here. Your flop sizing just confuses the hell out of me.. for some reason I just can't see you holding the nuts here because of that bet - It looks too much like you were trying to minimally invest to buy the pot, and if you'd had I feel like you'd have made a stronger bet on the flop because you'd have had a lot more outs. He could easily be holding a blocker to that with KK here too.

He has position on you so maybe KK/QQ can call a half pot bet and look to check behind the river? I also can't see you extracting much if you do catch the flush and bet the river.

Smells like a fold pre-flop to me. As played, you have no fold equity whatsoever, so shoving is pretty much out of the question.

Preflop looks like call or fold vs the described opponent. "Battling" dynamics don't really translate to UTG vs Button in 9 handed holdem IMO.

What is the purpose of your flop bet? I'm pretty confident that it wouldn't fold out a single better hand and nearly every worse hand. I doubt he would fold AK to it though. I think you need to revise the objectives of your bet before you make one.

On the turn I'm inclined to disagree with spoon and I think it's a mandatory push-- not because I think its +ev vs this guy, it's probably not-- but because your entire line depends on him having a lot of non-premium hands here. Also I think its possible he has AK and you will certainly fold that hand out. Or freeroll him for 20% of the pot when he has AKc.

Seems like an easy turn shove to me. I mean, if we're not shoving this particular turn then I question the flop cb in the first place.

You don't have nothing, only you have an opportunity to make flush on the river, so for my opinion it's better to check or if you want to raise, then you you should bet no more than $6.40 or $7.80.
By the way this is only my opinion
