I have decided to make another blog in a hope to finally get into poker properly. I have been playing recreationally for the last 6 years or so and I have never really got out of $2NL, after I would make some money on $2NL I would go play $25PLO and either win some money and withdraw or lose a lot of the money and go back to $2NL.

FIRST CHALLENGE TO PLAY 10,000 HANDS OF $2NL 9MAX SHALLOW

I started playing 4 days ago when I had $3 in my full tilt poker account. I have been keeping records of how many hands I have played and profit/loss though I cant afford HEM yet so will look into buying that when I can afford it out of my bankroll.
So far I have played:
$2NL 9MAX SHALLOW - 1696 hands +$6.90
$2NL 6MAX SHALLOW - 196 hands +$10.52

Current BR = $20.42

I am confident in my game playing $2NL 9Max Shallow and will keep grinding until I reach 10,000 hands. I also played some $2PLO 6Max Shallow and ran very well. That is where the name of my blog came from, a lovely gentlemen from Hungary kept calling me a Lousy English Gypsy over and over again. Made me giggle and helped me decided to make a blog.

Got to do real life things today, but am going to try and grind 800 hands tonight to get me up to around 2500 hands total.

Well...... Same old me....
Short Story - Busted, had to redeposit $10 starting grinding $2NL 9Max exclusively again
Long Story - I have disgraceful self discipline and probably am never going to make playing poker profitable, but $25PLO and roulette are hella fun

So I am starting again with my goal of grinding 10,000 hands and hopefully I will be able not to tilt after a bad session this time. Not starting a new blog, just going to make this my fail blog. Woop Woop

Right then well after I got my spewing my money away out of my system, managed a few sessions in the last two days.

$2NL 9Max Shallow - 962 hands +$9.89

Obviously I ran super well, especially in todays session where I won around $7, but it just annoys the shit out of me that if I hadn't tilted and fucked up my old bankroll I would be around $35 and 3000 hands down instead of here. BUT HEY HO.

I'm out tonight for a birthday and working all weekend and prepping for a job interview which will happen middle of next week, so probably not going to have time to play until Sunday Night. Though the next time I do have time for poker, I want to do some studying into pot odds and implied odds, which although I am quite good at mental maths I seem to have neglected for years.

Going to work my way through the beginners circle digest when I can motivate myself to do it, because when I do have free time I just normally want to play. I brought myself an awesome books of quotes as well so just going to through them in here every now and again.
