3/4 betting Q/A Pre-Flop :

Havent got a example to use as i havent really been noting these kind of hands down, been discussing this with various friends and getting very mixed respones :Just want to see how other people play this hand pre-flop - This is Not a real hand just an example : - BB 0.50

HERO : BB - Q/A
Villian : Button - Rasies to $1.50
SB : Calls $1.50
HERO : Flat or 3 bet to roughly $4.50/$5.50 ?

For me it tends to be on how many people in the flop and how loose/tight the other players are on the table. Just wanted to see how other people play it pre flop and what may be the best route without getting to pot commited on a slighlty above average hand. Your thoughts and comments will be of great help .

If Button steals a lot, and SB is loose I raise to $4.50.

I'm no expert, but from what I know, how you play this hand would have to do with how it stacks up vs. the range of hands that your opponents continue to your raise with. So in other words it's pretty situationally and opponent dependent.

Not enough information here. As posts above state, this is entirely based on BTN's opening range and SB's flatting range.

Generally going to be a 3bet for value to $6, but villain dependant ofc. AQ is a top 5% hand and people will generally continue with worse and dominated holdings.

Squeezing to 4x oop is better than 3x or 3.5x imo: we get the pot HU more often and extract more value. Taking it down pre is obviously fine too.

You're going to want to mix in some bluffs in this spot too. A better question to ask yourself would be what range you would squeeze in this spot and under what conditions would you want to do so? Then apply the same questions to being on the btn vs co and mp, etc.
