    Default Playable hand guidelines

What do you think about this list of guidelines about what hands to play in a NL ring game? My friend has made a lot of money on party NL50 ring tables using more-or-less exactly this preflop strategy, but it seems too tight to me. I play much looser, I'll play just about all the Group 3 and 4 hands from any position, and if it's called around to me, I'll raise with them most of the time in MP-LP. I'll play the unsuited unlisted versions of the group 4 hands in mid-late position also, as well as lower suited connectors and Axs in LP in unraised volume pot. What do you guys think? How do your hand selection strategies match up with this one and mine?

Group 1: Raise these from any position
    AA
    KK
    QQ
    AK

Group 2: Limp in, raise in late
    AQs
JJ (hands like JJ, 99, and TT can be raised in late with few limpers)

    Group 3: Limp in mid-late
    AQo
    AJs

    Group 4: Limp in late
    AJo
    ATs
    KQs
    KQo
    KJs
    QJs
    JTs
    T9s

    Notes:

Small blind hands: (with no raise)
    Axs
Any connecting cards in large pots (6 or more limpers)

    Pocket Pairs:
Limp pocket pairs from any position, however, any pocket pair under 99
really has no value unless you flop a set.

    Hands to stay away from:
Axs (drawing in NL is killer)
    A(low, ten and under)
    QJo
    Kxs (never play this)

Flops seen should be between 12% (cold cards) and 20% (good cards).
    14-15% is good.

Looks good to me, looks like the play list I try to play

Does, you're friend play more than 1 table at a time, as you are going to be doing a lot of folding with these hands.
Poker is all about the long long long long long long long term . . .

That looks very similar to my style. I play 2 tables at a time and see about 18-25% of flops. Losts of folding but profitable.

I play any pocket pair even if pot is raised up to 6 x BB. If table is weak, I limp in w/ suited connecters and Ax suited. Raise w/ AA through JJ and AK from any position (sometimes limp from blinds for a trap).

Draws stink in NL if you play w/ solid players. The above starting requirements change in a limit game because draws are much more important.
