    I was being timid. I had gone in two hands previous, and was beaten. What sucks is that I never play timid.

    I hate to say it, but I probably would have folded as well. I never seem to get a flush. As far as suite cards go I will only play suited connectors if its cheap. I will usually play any 2 suited face cards, unless there is a huge raise. And suited Ax if its not too expensive.

    edit:

    Being that your were in the the blind, depending on the table I may have called, but it would be hard.

    I would agree with you, but did you notice that he was in a $200 NL room. $5 isn't that much, and he had small blind, so it was only $4.

    Yes. I noticed that the blinds were 1/2. Still would have folded. Q4-suited is junk. In the long run, I believe folding that to a raise every time will save me more money than I might win from calling that every time.

    IMHO, you did the right thing, lemonhead.
