this is my least favorite type of board when i'm not the one with trips.

it's tempting to fold, with everyone except the BB gone, i might have check raised the BB for $2-$3 on the flop. but is his microbet a trap...

turn - i probably would have checked and folded had he bet

his raise on the river - fold as you did.
i hate what i have become to escape what i hated being...

I think you bet to see if he had a K. He acted as though he has a K but a terrible kicker. Maybe he had K4?

I don't think I would have bet the turn, or the river.

If you're wanting to be aggressive, maybe a check-raise on the flop, then check/fold the turn & river.
I don't know what they have to say
    It makes no difference anyway.
    Whatever it is...
    I'm against it.

    Unraised pot, check/fold the turn.

    Flop:
    (1) check/call. Ok.. The small bet probably isnt a trap since there is a 2-suited flop. I would put them on a marginal hand. Maybe you can try the passive line and go to a showdown with a small pot. Opp can always represent big on the turn/river. Opp hopefully will bet small/medium on turn/river. You will need to decide if opp makes a big bet on turn/river. By calling the flop opp obviously didnt think you had K. It might be better reinforced with a check/raise w/o spending that much more money
    (2) check/raise. Ok... Doesnt have to be a big raise. I would represent a strong hand and see where I stand. Your turn bet could still be $2. Now opps raise on the river will be a bit tougher.
A check/raise vs bet might also trim the field better.
    (3) check/fold. Not an option with a .50 cent (minimal) bet.
    (4) bet. Ok.. same idea as check/raise however you are starting as agressor vs. trying to get some information from opps w/ a check/raise. The check allows you to fold if alot of action happens afterwards. With a lead bet, you can play passive or aggressive on turn/river. If your bet gets re-raised, your in a tough situation. If a check/raise gets re-raised by opps, its an easier fold.

I would of probably done check/call or check/raise... and try and maintain a small pot. Calling/betting small or betting river if opp checks the turn. I probably wouldnt just bet b/c I am not confident I have best hand and there a quite a few opps in behind me
