cashing out of party to UK account watch out and help.

Cashed out last week using the no fee (from party!) Visa method (got a Visa Debit card). Given the exchange rate on the day was suprised at the amount of stirling to appear in my account. Seemed to be about £200 short. After lenthy phone calls this am it seems that my bank adjusts the exchange rate used by 2.75% on electronic transfers of foreign currencies (they implied that all uk banks do so!). The thing is that I dont pay commision on currency exchanges on my account they confirmed that if I had presented a cheque for $10k I would have saved myself the £200 ($360ish). It seems the same adjustment would be applied to a TT and last time I looked you couldnt link a UK bank account to a Neteller account. Any Uk based players got a way of cashing out thats quicker than waiting on a cheque but doesnt cost ?

I think you are now able to link a UK abnk account to a Neteller account.

I live in the UK and I withdraw from Neteller directly into my bank account, I think there is a fixed fee.
