I rooted for the steelers. They barely won.

Jets missed 2 field goals to seal the game up. Missed both including w/ 4 secs left. NFL kickers rofl cant hit a 47 yarder it came up short. Some say weight room?

Seeing the Jets kicker miss the game winning field goal at the end of regulation was ironic. It reminded me of seeing the Charger kicker do the same thing last week which gave the Jets the chance to play the Steelers in the first place...

Also, Heinz Field is the toughest stadium in the league to kick in. Opposing kickers always have a hard time there. I chalk up the two misses not to choking by the jets, but to the steelers home field advantage which was well deserved.

I for one feel like the Steelers should have romped the Jets. The Jets could only muster 3 measley points offensively. I don't feel like the TD returns by the Jets were flukes at all. Santana Moss is a dangerous returner, and it was stated that pregame he was saying he fealt good about breaking one for a score. And the INT. for a TD isn't too much of a stretch either. The Jets defense has always been pretty good.

Like Rilla' said. Bottom line. They won the game, but they didn't "WIN" the game if you know what I mean. Before last night I was sure the Steelers were a lock for the bowl. Now I'm not so sure. Indy would have put that game to bed last night. And New England would have definitely scored more than three offensively.

All Pittsburgh fans should send a letter of thanks to Doug Brien. N.Y. is starting to get a taste for the choke lately. Yankees anyone?

(And it pains me to say that last line being a Yankees fan.)

Hopefully this is the wake up call my Steelers desperately needed.

Not many people realize how close almost half the steeler games were this season. The offense has always played up to the level of their opponents and realied on amazing defense to keep them in the game.

I have no doubt that the Colts will be able to win easily if they bury us quickly. The Pats offense isn't quiet as blazing as the Colts (a given) that's why I'd like the Pats to move on.
