I didn't lose mine, i just had to spend my BR on some things. It's just frustrating having a $~140 br and playing LOW limit games where you lose money to bad play more than you earn.

It's tough to step down from $1-2 and $.50/1 NL to playing .05/.10 NL. How do you guys do it/ how have you done it?

I'm doing my bankroll from scratch. If you define it by money available, I could have a lot, but I intentionally started with $5 and have turned it into $150 to date. I'm only doing live games, though so far.

Read rilla's post about bankroll management, playing with 140 dollars at 1/2 is just downright silly, especially when you cite bad beats as a reason to not play low stakes. You're one bad beat away from wipeout at those stakes, hell you don't even have the full buy in.

If you can't be profitable at .05/.10 then you aren't going to be reliably profitable anywhere.

Bad beats is the reason to play those stakes. Bet against pot odds, in the long term you will make your money and more.

no, i'm saying i have $140 now, when i had $700 about a month ago. It's just hard to step down and go through all the low limit bs

I yanked a bunch out of my online accounts to cover my Vegas losses in January. I know exactly what you are going through. "My game is adjusted to playing 2/4, and I was winning $18/hr at that level. Now I am doing good to squeek out $4/hr at .50/$1" It took me 6 weeks to get back to even.

It's boring, it takes longer, losers suckout weird two outers against you. In a nutshell, bluff less, be more aggressive with your made hands; these adjustments at lower limits will make your BB/100 higher than you could ever acheive at higher limits. Your $/hr will probably still be less, but you have to work your way back up through all the crap. BR managment is key; its better to increase your stake by 5% a day than lose 30% playing above what your stake allows.

yep, i already made $19 today playing .10/.20 NL. Having no bankroll is painful, and i'll make sure it never happens again.

I'm not sure if you can really guarantee you'll never have to move down again. I lost a huge chunk of my bankroll during a week of solid poker with very few mistakes. Runs of bad luck aren't things that can really be avoided, no matter how well you play.
