    hi, and thank you for all the great help so far in the posts here. I just started playing online and this hand was like wtf, im pelerojo66 in the hand

    Nothing you really could have done here, except maybe bet more preflop. The runner runner flushes are hard to take and they don't happen to often I would be generally scared about it. You had all your money in when you had the best hand, so, good play.

    I think with all the players limping in, by simply checking you're missing a potentially profitable situation. I would have raised preflop with the intention of betting no matter what flopped (unless many of the limpers call). If only a couple of the limpers call, they will likely be moved off their hands easily, or you may have any number call and flop top pair with a strong kicker and add to your profit through value bets. In this particular case, however, Q-J suited likely would've called and you still would've lost the pot to the runner runner flush since I doubt this player would be able to lay down top pair with a J kicker.
