BB was slowplaying his King high flush... Very tough to see through...
(And in the previous example tried a check-raise on the river)

Limper did a doubtful call in the previous example hoping to catch the full-house.
In this example he folded when you raised him all-in...


Conclutions:
Raising Pre-flop in the previous example (as one of you suggested) would have made BB to fold his K4s. But is that a longterm win-strategy??? Against small suited connectors you want a lot of players, and large stacks, in the pot, right?!

Checking on the river in the previous example (as another guy suggested) would have been the next best idea. But once again... Is that a good read or a luckey guess? What's best in real life?

Or maybe... WAS THIS JUST A BAD BEAT???

It's not a bad beat, just an unlucky one. I'd say the hand was pretty well-played. You'd like to have more money so that the turn doesn't put you all in (and you have the chance to get out if you think you're beat) - but the size of the appropriate bet basically dictates it.

I also think in the previous thread, this player with the nut flush would have bet on the river, and possibly re-raised you on the turn. You describe him as "pretty aggressive" - no way he's giving you free cards with the nut flush in his hand and two aces on the board.

I describe him as a Good player and pretty aggressive...
This means that he know he's up against you, an aggressive player... So therefor he chooses to slowplay this hand instead, and hide behind your raises... Invisible!
