In retrospect I think u should have folded QJo UTG.

If u really wanted to play this hand in this position, I think u have to open for a raise and show some strength.

i like calling that, especially if you know you won't get raised which is likely at your tables. but, definitely bet the flop and the turn, bet both of them strongly.

my logic for calling with qj is: its unlikely you'll get raised. if you do get raised, fold it. people would raise preflop aq/aj. only real hand you're worried about with no preflop raises is kj or kq, but just evaluate by how people play if you think you're beat just like any other hand.
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch

I cried when I saw the turn.

Stop checking good hands against opponents that call/raise with shitty hands. Also, consider how being out of position made this hand harder to play.

    I'll give you mine:

Cumulatively, over 100 hands (yeah, pretty small sample, but that's 100 hands holding QJ) it's basically evened out. -$5, but one solid hit will put it into the positive range.

By position, however, it's quite different:
On the button through 2 places off the button, I've netted +$30 with QJ. Mid position almost (not quite) breaks even. Early position is down $20 or so, and blinds are break even.
    I run a training site...

Check out strategy videos at GrinderSchool.com, from $10 / month.
