    ----

It looked like a set to me, but folding was just SOOOO painful. Y'all think I did the right thing? 'Cause the way he played would have been the way I would have played a set.

Why is straight not an option? I can see a loose player calling a raise with K 10... However, after that flop call its probably a set, or a higher 2pair like AJ... If you had to make me guess though, I'd say JJ.... however I would've re-raised after your flop raise, with JJ, but thats just me.

Brad the Man: Maniacal at times, pretty loose all around.
Ex_Ray: Pretty tight preflop, loose after it. Almost a tight passive, but not quite.
They're both on Table 36559 right now if you want to develop your own opinions. )

So a semi-passive player explodes in your face?

If he's a tricky aggro, I would said QT. Just becuase I played QT almost exactly the same yesterday with the same board.

    Set play makes sense then.

Well, with the tight preflop on Ex_Ray, I'd have to all but rule out straight unless he's a tricky boy... probably JJ (AJ/AQ are slightly more likely now, if he is loose post/flop)

With 1 limper and deep money, I'd go for the raise to take over the hand if the other players are fairly weak.

Is this one of those puzzle things? I think lee said "Raise Where?" somewhere in that jibberish :P
