Default Critique both of us please.

OK, this is a 2 table SnG. We have just recently consolidated to one table. I was not In the first couple hands after the merge. Didn't know anything about my opponent. This was a blind steal gone bad, but I think I played it right, and that he played it badly.

    Critique please.

I don't see anything wrong with that. Your blind steal failed, but you flopped what was almost definitely the best hand and you bet it. He made a dumb call and won.

i thought you were going to be outkicked or beaten by two pair, which, when you were called was much more likely. Since you were the one pushing all in though you made the right move, its just a bonus that he called with about a 30-70 underdog hand.

What do you think of a push instead of a 3x raise here? I only have about 10BB... might not have made any difference to that player, but might be a better move in a simillar situation.

I like your play, if you are re raised pre flop you have just enough to get away from the hand, but you're short stacked enough that K10 is a good enough hand to try a steal. Once you hit you have to go with it.

On the other side his call with J10o is a little loose, but maybe he though you were stealing. If you call with J10o I think you have to get your money in when you get to an OESD. He was going to be SS if he folds here and maybe he figured this was his best chance to win, even tho the pot odds aren't there. Tough to argue that if he folds here he has less than a 30 % chance to win the tourney.

i dont like the preflop play, postflop is fine. If you're gonna put 1/3 of your stack in might as well go the whole way.
