I was behind pre-flop, on the flop, on the turn. But could I possibly have done anything different???

nicely played, i might've checked the turn

My less-than-the-pot-bet on the turn, was begging for a re-raise from someone who just made the flush. I would have pushed if raised. Since he didn't raise, I was trying to decide how much he might call on the river, and opted for $10. I was very happy to get re-raised there......until I saw his cards.

I had a tiny twinge that he might have AT, but knew I would never fold this hand.

So it's beats like this that show why BR mgmt is so important. You can make a great hand and have to go broke given the situation. Tough luck.
I'll be a rootin' tootin' shootin' damn fool, protectin' my chips.
