    Default What would you do?

I would assume the answers are all going to be "call/push all-in," but I'm curious...

I think you call... The check behind when the 3rd diamond hit was a little bit suspicious. That may have been due to the fact that they have the Q and are scared of the flush with their set. I think the most likely hands are Qx/lower pp/flush, I'm calling here and if they have the Q, congrats to them.

Did you have any reads on their style? Were they loose enough to call a PF raise with QJ or something along those lines?

No special reads - I had just joined the table 15 minutes before. Stealthy wasn't playing that many hands as far as I noticed. I was surprised and kind of suspicious right off the bat to get called on that large of a raise by the big stack; kind of assumed he had a pocket pair.

huh? I'd fold that all day long.
He called the flop bet, meaning he either is not scared of the queens (he has one), or has 2 diamonds and wants to catch his flush.

He checks the turn behind Dale, not wanting to scare him off.

He reraises on the river because he likes his hand. Theres not many hands that go with this board for someone to like alot.

I am pretty sure he has a queen/boat or flush. Aces are no good here tho.........

You is confused. A third queen comes on the river; I have made queens full of aces, the second nuts. The ONLY thing that beats me there is the fourth queen in his hand.

I could see him making this move with the flush (if he's dumb) or a pocket pair, tens up to kings. Or with quad queens. That's the real question. His range of hands is slim, but I beat all but one of them.

No problem. I had to re-read the hand history and your post a few times to make sure I wasn't missing something.

He would've re-raised your flop bet if he hit the set. You've got him beat. Push.

disclaimer: I used this thinking when a flop came out 333 and couldn't imagine that the BB had a 3 & I got burned when he just called down my increasing bets.

Use the type of thinking, what are the possibilities he has the queen. If it's greater then 50% (or whatever odds you need) that he doesn't call.

It is VERY likely he has the queen. How the hand is played. He probably had Q no kicker. The flush scares him, then he hits quads on the river.

Either that, or he slowplayed the flush, and was upset that you beat him on the river and wants to bluff you off it.

Considering this is 25nl I'm 90% sure he has the Queen

Yeah, me too. He held KQ suited and robbed me blind. I just called, figured I could save myself a couple dollars if I was wrong... but I couldn't fold that.

To his discredit, he gave me two free shots at my overpair draw, so it would have served him right if that river card was an ace instead of a queen.

Nope. We had a brief conversation that went like this:

    me: Unbelievable
him: you had to think I had the 4th queen after I called you on the flop.
me: Yes, but when the third one came on the river I couldn't get away from the hand.
him: True, I couldn't have either.
