I think he was semi bluffing the whole way, but I should've raised on the turn. I don't know what's wrong with me. He could of had anything.

    himself fucker.
If you don't raise the flop, you've gotta raise the turn. If he doesn't make his hand by the river, he's likely to stop or make another moderate bet which you could probably squeeze out of him on the turn.

That's the most passive play I've ever seen from a set of aces. You probably should have raised the flop, definitely should have raised the turn, and should have called the river since you probably still had the best hand.

yeah i felt really dumb on the river. I was in 2 3 table sng's and another ring at the time and my game just wasn't on. at least i didnt lose much..

This is a dangerous board for your set here. I say you drop the hammer on the turn at the very latest. You really don't want to allow this guy to see 2 cheap cards, 1 is fine, but 2 is taking liberties.

2 high cards probably give anybody who stayed in at least a straight draw, plus the 2 suited cards made it even uglier. I would definitely play this hand fast. Theres a lot of cards that could hit on the turn or river that you would prefer not to see.
