First hand:
Guy had :Jc: and took home the pot.
I thought that I maybe bet to weak on the turn to give him incorrect odds to call with a flush draw, but now when I look at it again I see that my betting was storng enough. He made some awful calls and got lucky, that´s all.
Second hand, I won the pot and the other guy mucked.
I may have checked the turn to feel for the straight.
I think this is a weakness in my play: I don´t see possible straights, At least not good enough. Though I think I wouldn´t have checked even if I did since there is a lot more risk that someone has a flush with three of the same suit on board, than someone having a straight with KTQ on the board (needs AJ, and if he has one of them, checking would only give him a free river card).
Though a couple of times I have been sitting with a set or something, sure that I´ll win, and sure even when my opp´s showing his cards, sure until all the chips go to his place and I sit like a living question mark and then realize it: he had a straight.
Think I have to work on that a bit.
