Default Wuh, wuh, what would you do?

    Playing .50/1.00 NL, 5-handed.

MP1 is a little loose/passive, but usually bets with the goods-23 bucks. I've seen him pay big flush draws. MP2 is very loose/weak player-12 bucks. And me, 25 bucks.

I get dealt KQc UTG and raise the min. Both of the above call...everyone else folds.

    Flop comes 3dJcKd. I bet 3 bucks, MP1 calls, MP2 calls.

    Turn comes 9s. I bet 5, MP1 calls, MP2 folds.

River comes 9c. I get this feeling that MP1 is going to push in all of his chips(about 14 bucks more)...and voila, he does.

What would you do? Call or fold?

Discuss, and I'll reveal my decision and why I made that decision.

    I fold.

I just feel that you've been betting all the way like you have top pair. For him to push he must have hit trips, 2 pair or full house. Sometimes you just save the rest of your chips for a later hand.

edit: i think he's holding the straight...

I'm not sure. I might fold here, I might not. He could be pushing there just because of the formidable size of the pot, trying to steal. He could also have a straight or a boat. In a very similar situation today I ended up calling a guy who had hit quads (I had top two pair incl. the pair on the board), so I'd be lying if I said I would always fold that. But it looks like a probable fold to me.

    Default I agree with 'rilla

He doesn't have a 9 because he would have laid it down on the flop. But q10 is highly likely. He plays loose so playing q10 for a min raise would be right up his alley. Lay it down and live to see another day.

One more hint that may help you get the answer...he just lost about 1/3 of his stack by getting his aces cracked by another guy to flopped a set...I'll post the outcome shortly...

    All wrong..

When he pushed all-in, three possibilities went through my mind...

A)He missed his flush draw and wanted to buy the pot,

B)He had a K and chances are his kicker was lower than mine,

C)Since he just had his aces cracked by a set, he was on tilt and just pushed all-in hoping I'd fold.

My gut told me he was drawing to his flush, but remembered that he typically only bets with the goods...

And if B or C was correct, I had him beat.

I called and it turns out he had AJ offsuit, so I took down the pot.
