Default $5+$1 SNG vs $10+$1 SNG

I have been palying $5 +$1 SNG tournaments (ITM: 11/20, 55%) and was thinking about moving up to the $10 +$1 SNG and wanted to know if there was a big difference between the two or if the level of play is rather similar?

Play should be about the same. I strongly advise it as soon as you're rolled for it ($200) since the rake is 10% instead of 20.

I find it to be different. The players are slightly more in tune with the texture of the game and the table...there also seems to be less bad beats, because these players are less likely to call a 5xs raise with a 6-2 off and suck out on you.

I agree... players are a little wild and wacky on the 5/1s, calling down with nothing. Harder to push off of pot. You can increase your aggression in the 10/1.
