    Default Hand History Quiz

These hands are from this weekend's big MTT 800 Entries. What do you do in the following:

    Hand #1:
Hour 3. 160 players remain. Hero Stack 12,000. Chip leaders 40,000. Biggest stack at the table is 26,000.

Hero in Middle position blinds 400/800.
UTG (table leader) MIN RAISE. MP2 calls. Folds around to Hero on BB with 77.

Go AI? Raise? Check? UTG is solid aggressive player.

Assuming Hero checks...flop comes Q43(rainbow). Hero bets out 3/4 pot. UTG calls.

Flop brings 8. Hero bets pot roughly 3000 leaving hero with 8K. UTG smooth calls.

River 6. Hero checks. UTG bets 9000. Do you make that call? Why or why not?

Hand #2. Approx 80 players remain. Top 60 get paid. Hero 33,000 second in chips at table. Sitting 2 seat's to Hero's right his hyper aggressive lady with cute avatar who has Hero covered by 200 chips. Lady has been raising and reraise every pot and strategy was working well for her.

    Blinds are 500/1000.
Dealt to Hero in CO AA. Table folds to lady who raised to 3000.
Do you reraise, smooth call, fold?

2 players see flop Hero and Crazy Lady.
Flop is J64(rainbow) Crazy lady bets 3000.
    Do you re-raise, call?

Assuming that you re-raise 9000 and Crazy lady re-reraised AI do you call?

    Results to come.

Hand 1 - I might be tempted to push, depending on my reads. It appears that UTG has a marginal hand, with no pre-flop raise, in a push, you are at worst a coin flip.

Hand 2 - I am confused. If I read the post correctly, you have AA - why are you questioning calling the AI?
If you put all your faith in the river, you are up shit's creek

    himself fucker.
Hand 2 is very straightforward, as long as you get all the chips in on the flop or preflop, you've done well.

Hand 1 is a bit more curious. UTG is solid and aggro but he turns into a passive hump?

Fold the river, I'm not losing all my chips in an unraised pot.

I think UTG is foolish for playing any hand this way unless he limped and set.
