a fellow poker player i converse with off line told me once after recieving a bad beat, to never ever underestimate your opponent. Why did you have it engraved in your head that he didnt have a Ten? He could have had AT-KT-QT-JT-T9-TT, i have seen preflop raises of 5xBB getting called by all i have just listed. Yes he had a horrific hand T7o, yuck, but preflop doesnt matter when there is a flop out there. Even AK had you beat at this point, KK, there is no way i would have put all my money in on KQs with that kind of flop and turn. EVEN on the RIVER, 4 CARD STRAIGHT. You didnt put him on Aces, great he had you beat from the first three cards!!! Remember that a preflop favorite is only as good as the board, AA murders AKo any day, but when the flop comes QJT, well that changes everything.
