Default Hand decision in a rebuy

This is my first post here and I must say that the advice all of you have been giving has been quite helpful for me as a new player. Anyway, I was playing in a 2$ rebuy and it's the third hour. I have a medium stack and am sitting at the SB with a pair of twos. There is one early caller and the player two to my raises 2 x BB. What's the correct play here? I figured that just about any hand beats me 60% of the time and a higher pp beats me more, so I folded. Of course, then the flop is a 2 so I feel like an idiot.

If the call is a small percentage of your stack and there is little chance of getting re-raised after you call, I play 'em.

For a small raise like that, assuming he's got a lot of chips in his stack, call. If you flop the set, figure out a way to get as many chips from him as possible.

pocket pairs are great hands because when you hit that set, 99.5% of players will probably rarely if ever put you on it. For a min raise or even a normal raise i generally see PP's if the conditions are right:

    1. I'm not going to be re-raised out of the pot
    2. Its not a huge portion of my stack (IE i'm shortstacked, at this point i might push).

If it looks lgood (most of the time it does) I will look for a set on the flop.
