Default Was this a maniac play?

The preflop raise, I believe, was good. You really have to reraise pretty big in 5/10 penny to get any effect.

I figured the BEST he could have was TPTK, which gives me 6 outs for overs and 4 outs for the straight, but i would PREFER him to fold. Was this a bad play?

Corey, should I have checked the turn? Checked the flop? What would you have done?

Well, it was definitely badly played by him... Why take the $4 bet on the flop if he wasn't going to call the $4.4 on the turn?

Other than that - I don't know what kind of game this was, but generally in the $0.05/$0.10 games I play, you don't have to bet $3-4 every time to bluff people out of a hand.

Dunno what I would have done here... Think I would have raised less preflop. Makes the flop $4 more scary if you only raised $1 preflop as I see it, as it signifies you actually improved your hand on the flop. Otherwise, if I really felt like bluffing the hand, I would've put all-in on the flop instead. The $4.4 bet on the turn shouldn't have scared him off.
