Default Completing from SB in a SnG

I was just wondering if you guys like to complete in the SB in a SnG, and with what. Personally I will only complete if my cards are suited, connected or both. I play at stars, and I will only do this up until level II (15/30 blinds). It just seems like a waste of chips to complete with a hand like T4o or something which needs a miracle flop to become playable. What are your thoughts?

I play @ stars to and exactly as you ... I have been thinking a lot about it though! Its not only the cards that make the SB hard to play.. you are 100 procent out of position on the flop.

I play in a similar fashion as well. I don't completely buy into the whole blind defense thing - particularly early on. In a unraised pot I will complete with any two cards up to about level 2, if it is even minraised I let it go, chips are too valuable at that point to waste. I prefer waiting on a good opportunity to pick up a good pot with position rather than pray a flop hits you. You are at such a big disadvantage having to act first after the flop...it is rarely worth the effort. It also becomes a bit easier to steal a few pots later on when the blinds are bigger and people are aware that you often just fold your SB. When the blinds are 50/100 or better I will throw out a 4x BB raise if there are just a couple limpers and usually take it rigt there...if not there is usually only one caller and if you fire out a good bet on the flop they will typically respect it as long and they didn't connect to well.
