    Default tournament question?

I am going to be playing in a live tournament and was wondering what gear you guys wear? Hats, sunglasses, etc. and do you think that they help any? Thanks.

Pants, and probably a shirt too, usually works for me.

I don't know how good you are, or how serious/big this tournament is,
but for me (and I suspect for 90% of players out there), if I wear
sunglasses and a hat, it'd make mostly for a comic effect.

I don't wear anything out of the ordinary. I'm not really interested in drawing any attention to myself before the cards are dealt.

....well except when I wear my full-length mink coat to the table.

I need a really absorbent pair of underwear.

Usually I put a bunch of paint on my face (see pic)

    Really throws people off.

No, I'm in the "wear whatever boring thing you want" crowd. No gimmicks, but I've been sporting my new pStars cap recently.

Depends on the level of the tournament. If there's a good chance the players you're playing against will be capable of getting reads (and you like the idea) go ahead and wear sunglasses + hood + whatever. I've never played against anyone who managed to beat me through tells, so I've never found this necessary - but then most of my live game experience has just been people around campus.

And not a one of you mentioned to him that he should be wearing Official FTR gear. FOR SHAME!!

Where in the hell are the banning request forms? That's it LeFou. You are dead to me now.

Forgive those people Chuck. At any live tournament you should have on an FTR Visor, Sunglasses, an FTR Unabomber Hoodie,an FTR T-Shirt, Jeans, and most importantly. You're lucky FTR Thong. (Don't believe me? Ask Fishstick about them. )

I like to avoid drawing attention to myself, so just roll in looking normal. However, I usually wear a hoodie and sometimes I bust out the Scream mask or the dollar store sunglasses

Good moderator. I'm considering promoting you to Marketing Director.

Wear what ever you want... A lot of the time people will wear sunglasses and what not. I think this is a good idea, because it disguses who you are reading, and what you are paying attention to. Personally, I would go with the mp3 player, and just make it look like im not paying attention. But in reality, I would be paying very close attention.
