US currency bank account, for non US citizens

i'm trying to find a bank that will let me open an account.
i'm canadian, so a lot of the sites i've found so far are only US citizens only (since their sign up form only has state and zip code)

my rakeback only has gift certificates, and i'll need to sell them on ebay to get any cash value....and i want a US account to avoid getting hit with the exchange rate multiple times going into my canadian checkings account.

btw, it's preferably that everything is free. high interest rates are a plus.

Sell them on FTR -- maybe just (edit) folks you can trust. Or trade them with FTR folks for cash transfers on other poker sites. You're likely to get full value and not pay eBay's growing fees. PM me if you stay with the eBay route, I may bid on a small amount of them just for the discount value.
