Default My last hand from a recent 3-table

We had just moved from 3 tables down to two.. I was the short stack, and played it as follows. What I was wondering, is should I have laid this down on the raise?

I did not have time to get a read on the two players I was up against, it was my first hand at the new table.

    All advice is greatly appreciated!

You are at 20x the BB you do not need to push, I would fold.
I dont think the SB is trying to steal because he has already seen a short stack raise and another call. I would think that he would need to have a legitimate hand in order to reraise against. You are a huge underdog to any pocket pair.
He could be attempting the HoH squeeze play, but even if he was, ur AQs against 2 random hands only puts you at about 50% chance of winning. You do not need a coin flip right now.

But lets pretend that next hand the blinds would go up to 60, putting you at 10x the Big blind. If you are going to play an AQs, push dont raise, you might scare off some of the smaller pocket pairs that would other wise call.

    Harrington on Holdem,
Harrington says that sometimes when he sees a raiser and a caller, he will reraise with pretty much anything unless "the hand is pretty much hopeless". What this does is it traps the original raiser between someone who shows enough strength to call a raise and then someone who shows a lot of strength by reraising. This puts the original raiser (which is you in this case) in a toughie, and whoever initiates the squeeze play is trying to get the initial raiser to fold (you).

You still have a decent stack, and you don't have too good a read I'm assuming at 15/30, just lay it down, pick a better spot.

With blinds at 15/30 and 500 chips left, you have plenty of time, and will probably catch some better cards in a better position.

I like the raise with the AQ suited, but with a reraise of that size and no read on the raiser, this is a fold for me.

agreed, I would put at least one of them on a pair or on AK. Either way, you're behind.
