    Default Heads-Up and pocket pairs

How do you guys play PPs when heads up. By heads up I mean only two players left in the tourney, not that everyone folded. I was playing a home game this past weekend and one of the first hands in heads up I was dealt QQ. I raised 2xbb but after thinking about it I am not sure if that was the best way to play it. My thought afterwards were that if he did call I might be in trouble because he wouild call with almost any Ace or King. I think I should have checked the flop and hopefully he would catch a pair.

you should never slow play pocket pairs QQ+ preflop.. this is dangerous especially w/ more players because if u just call the BB, then someone could catch two pair of something like 3-10, they might check (or bet, doesnt matter cause u will be calling either way w/ QQ) and whatever their action is, your best bet is to go All in with a flop of undercards while holding QQ+ and u will lose if someone caught their hand.

this is all preflop though, if u hit trips or quads (!) on the flopper, then u could slow play.

Just go all in its quite simple on PP the blinds get so frigin high that you dont need to play it post flop just go all in prelfop.

If you're heads up and he's folding to a 2x raise, you're playing too passive.

All-in is good if there's a chance you'll get called. If not, try a standard raise of like 4x (which you should be making frequently regardless of the cards anyway).
    I run a training site...

If he's folding to 2xBB raises HU, you should be able to run him over.

I've slow-played AA HU and had to fold it on the turn when a 4-flush comes up and my AA is un-improved.

It's a bad situation. I'd say that if you are very careful about reading your board and your opponent, you can slow-play JJ+ HU.
I don't know what they have to say
    It makes no difference anyway.
    Whatever it is...
    I'm against it.
