    Default SNG's

When playing SNG's how often, with what hands, and how much do you raise preflop?

Books have been written on just those questions, perhaps you could be more specific about what hands, what position, what stack size and blind level you are at.

In SnGs, position, chip stack and reads matter more than your hole cards, or your opponents hole cards. This is especially true when you are ~5 handed.

Other than that piece of advice, I can't tell you any more without a specific question. As Dave suggests.
I don't know what they have to say
    It makes no difference anyway.
    Whatever it is...
    I'm against it.

I finally got a hold of Harrington on Hold'em (which is an excellent book, imo), and in it, he offers many suggestions with extensive examples and explainations that may help you get the answers that you're looking for.

Harrington on Holdem Explains ALL, including how much to raise, what positions, what situation, what cards, how to hold you mouth, the meaning of life, and a tretis on why the chicken actually crossed the road (I didn't understand the explanation, I think it has something to do with Monica Lewinski)

Harrington on holdem is a GREAT book.

I manage to make the final table of a 2070 participants whitout having good cards. Only by applying Harrington's concept. How to read your opponents, how to play from EVERY position. How to read every bets. And of course, how to manage your PREFLOP, which the most important.

    lol

Without a doubt the best I've read yet. Hoping to finish it up for the 2nd time tonight. There's so much in there you almost HAVE to read it a minimum of 2 or 3 times.

I played in a $20+$2 at party last night. 1900+ entrants, and I made the top 30 to a lucky river Q to beat my 99. Tough to take when you're that close, but Harrington's book is what got me there. I had very little success in MTT's before reading his book and applying the concepts to my game.
