    Default Am i doing ok on sit and gos? (

    I was just wondering if this was a good start...I just started this new operation/plan to only play sit and gos...right now these are all on 5+.50 sit and gos on full tilt poker.

    24 Played total

    1st - 5
    2nd - 4
    3rd - 5
    Rest - 10

    ITM % - 58.33%

    I actually didn't have many out of the money..but i had a really bad day and i lost 6 in a row...umm and i actually don't know what the ROI stands for...but i'm up around 79.50 although i used around 33 of it to play in tournies...so my total bankroll is only 46 right now...i know i should have more but i'm kind of running tight this month...

    oh and how much should my bankroll be before i move up to 10 + 1 dollar sngs?...should i play like another 50 or more 5 dollar ones?

    It's a good start but don't read too much into your results until you get around the 100 mark. Everytime i've tracked mine the 1st 50 have been god like and the next 50 not so hot to leave me with the norm results over time.

    Good luck!

    I'm in a similar position man and had the same question- out of some 30 or so SnGs at the 5$ level, i am about 45 % ITM and something like a 70% ROI- I think I will hold off till I get my bankroll up to 150 before moving up to the 10$ games Sounds like we are at close to the same place ..lol. (bankroll at 80 somethin now)

    read up on Ripptyde's and Rada's stickied posts up top, at some point its not supposed to be about the cards.

    Catching cards sure does make an SNG easier but...The tourney will not be won by a player because he had the best cards. Ryppy and Rada really explain it best. The stack sizes and player reads are much more important in an SNG. Dont get caught up early in the SNG. Let the others play around you while you watch (play only premium hands). You'll be getting reads while they are trying to build their stacks.

    Superb play sir...I always call 20% of my stack off with a gutshot draw. Excuse me while I race for my wallet.

    ROI = Return on Investment = Aount won / Amount invested

    Example - if you play 10 $10+1 on Party Poker and get 2 1sts, 2 2nds, and 2 3rds, you would net $90(200-110). So the calculation is:

    ROI = 90/110 = 81.8%
    ITM = 6/10 = 60%
