    Default Sites other than Party

First off, my apolgies if this is in the wrong place. I'm sure that the powers that be will move this if necessary.

I've been playing at Party for about 2 years now, and am at a point where I'm starting to consider opening an account at another site. I currently spend most of my time playing $10+$1 SnG's with an occasional $20+$2 Sng thrown in, and $20+$2 MTT's.

From my reading here I guess that some sites have a little less on the tourney buy-ins than Party, and while that isnt' all bad it's not my main consideration.

I've never played any other sites, so I'm curious to hear thoughts about the interfaces of the other sites, the level of competition compared to Party, the availability, number of entrants and rough payout structures of low-mid level MTT's in the $20-$50 buyin range. I would like to find a place with comparable SnG's that offers a large amount of MTT's. UB? Paradise? Stars?

Does it even make sense to branch out to another site, or would I better off staying solely where I am now?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

If you want good SnGs and a great selection of MTTs, then I cannot recommend Poker Stars enough.

They have SnGs ranging from $5+0.50 to $1000+35, turbos (5 min levels), or normal (10 min levels) and they offer MTTs all through the day. These include freezout that range from $1 buyin to $500+30 buyin. And rebuy events that range from $5.50+R all the way up to $109+R.

I also think that Stars have a better SnG structure than Party Poker, as you get 1500 chips to start and you can choose how you want the blind structure to go, strict for turbos, and relaxed for normals.

ive been playing on paradise recently and i really have enjoyed it. i like that lots of the daily mtts dont have way too many people like party or stars. party tourneys are often 1000 people or so, stars tourneys can have a lot as well. but there are several daily tournaments on paradise in the range of 100-300 people, which means while the payouts aren't as big, they come more frequently, which is what i need until my bankroll gets bigger. i like the way their sngs are setup too, 1000 chips, blinds move up every 10 hands, and start low at 5/10 giving plenty of time to wait for hands in the beginning while idiots knock themselves out. but i agree with dwarf as well, pokerstars is a great site for tournaments and ill start playing there again once i get the bankroll to do several of their mtts every day.

When I first started playing online, I played on PokerRoom.com. SnG's are quite good and there are lots of MTT's, although most tend to be $5 ones.

I have recently switched to Pokerstars.com and have to say that I prefer this site.

btw .......... nice pic! Very similar to poker in fact, in such that it is always nice to see a pair of Aces!
