    Default TT Early in SNG

Was on the button, first hand in SNG an am dealt TT.

A few limpers, i raise to 100 and get 2 callers. Pot is 370. Flop comes undercard rags. Checked to me so I bet aggressively (1.5 Pot) and get folds.

2 hands later, I get the same. Folded to me so I put in same raise and get 2 callers. Flop is T Q 3 rainbow. I bet half pot (slow play), get called and then re-raised AI. Reckon I'm up against 2 pair (QT?) so I re-raise AI. Other player folds.

Turns out he had a set of queens. Any advice? It's a $10+1 if it helps.

The set over set was unlucky, you were right to get your chips in there.

What were the blind levels on the first hand?

If you didn't lose all your chips there, you played it wrong. No way I'm not pushing on a set of tens.

Set over set is just one of those things. In the long run I think you made the right play.

Blinds were 10/20. Thought I'd played it okay. Early with no reads it's tough...if I could have put him on an overpair I'd have been wary, but still do it.

More positively, I only had ~250 chips left and went on to finish fourth. Down to four I had 1000 chips with the other 7000 split evenly between the other 3. Got QQ and raised, was re-raised all in so called. He flips over A7o and gets his A. Damn poker!
