    Default Who folds this?

Villian just called an allin for 3/4 of his stack with AK on the turn the hand before, then rivered his ace to beat another pair. That seemed fishy enough to make this..

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (7 handed) converter

    MP1 (t1250)
    MP2 (t1200)
    CO (t1145)
    Button (t1125)
    Hero (t2065)
    BB (t3455)
    UTG (t3260)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 5, A.
4 folds, Button raises to t100, Hero calls t75, BB calls t50.

    Flop: (t300) 3, 9, 9 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, Button bets t150, Hero calls t150, BB calls t150.

    Turn: (t750) 2 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, Button bets t300, Hero raises to t600, BB raises to t2000, Button folds, Hero calls t1215 (All-In).

    Final Pot: t4865

Also, I know lots of people would play A9o the same way.

Yup, my chips are going in there.

You'd be mighty unlucky to run into a boat, I put him on A9 or something like JJ.

hard to get away from that on the turn. I probably play it the same, though I imagine that you still have a decent shot at winning even with that turn. Button could have an pocket overpair, possibly A9.. which would suck with that river.
    If I had a hammer
    I'd drop in the morning
    I'd drop in the evening..

I'm paying the boat off. And then I go to IRC and bitch about it.

tough decision but if your read is right go with your gut.

but - with 2 pair on the board, all he has to have is a 3 or a 9 to bust you...

if he DID have the boat, i still have the 1 out redraw to the straight flush. not that it matters.

I assume the question is do you fold on the turn, not the river, he called AI on the turn. And the answer on the turn is... never!

River... toughie... a weak min raise coule well be A9. If we're assuming you would have 1215 after the river fold, I'd probably give it up, especially to a looser player. A super tight, maybe I think PP and call.

good play, shitty outcome. You just cant put him on a boat before the board double pairs, thats obvious, and therefore you have him on the turn. With X9 he has 10 outs on the river, you got your chips in when you had him dominated, 'nuff said.
