Default Stars 5.50 K3o in the small blind, and everyone folds to me.

Flopped the best I could hope for. I guess I was way to meek. More agression right?

it took him a good 20 seconds to call my raise.
He doesnt reraise, so I dont think he has KK, AA, AK.
On the flop I bet he calls. What could he have that would call my raise on the flop, wihtout reraising. AT and above, 88-TT, Kx, Qx. Right?

the blinds are too small to steal. you should fold preflop. theres nothing to win by raising.

I think Rip even folds this pre-flop. He doesn't like Big-Little unsuited either.

ya but post flop, im sure he woudlve played it differently.

Kx has you out-kicked. Qx has you on 2 outs. Not a spot where you want to get in a lot of chips.

He caught a 3-outer and didn't even value bet the river. I don't see how you misplayed the hand.

Alright, ILl keep that in mind, thank you.

indeed. I agree with Fnord. Blinds aren't high enough to warrant much of a blind war. I do think that if you play that, you ought to at least push back on the turn a bit harder, however.

He's way ahead or way behind on the turn, why do you want to spew chips in a situation like that?

I think you need to consider value of stealing 30 chips vs the fact that the whole table just watched you raise with K3o early on.

Looking over it a bit more carefully, I suppose you're right. It's been awhile since I've been analyzing hands - I forgot to look at the chip stacks. If the chip situation were reversed, I'd say lead out on the turn with a 300chip (or so) bet. It puts pressure on the other person's chip stack to call with only ace high, and if you get pressure back, then probably fold.

In this case, however, I see what you're saying.

Still, it's best to have avoided the situation completely. 15 chips isn't worth worrying about. Fold it.
