Not much you can do on the first hand, but man, that second hand is just gross.

Reraise on the button preflop with an ass hand? Not my favourite play.

Reraise on the flop with an ass hand? Not my favourite play.

Calling down large bets with a weak hand? Not my favourite play.

Very poorly played hand IMO. There's playing in position, and then there's playing stupid in position.

In the first hand I don't like the raise preflop in the SB with AJ. It's just not a good enough hand to warrant a raise preflop when you have to play the whole hand from ass position.

Good bet on the flop and good bet on 4th, but I'd prefer a call on his raise. You have to wonder what he smooth called with on the flop and is now raising big on 4th with. I suppose you're attached to the hand at this point anyway so getting your money into the middle isn't a bad play, and laying down three jacks with top kick is not going to happen. I just think you could have played it a little less aggressively.

Oh, come on I dont think I played the 2nd hand that terrible. I think the biggest problem was me trying to re-raise on the flop with nothing against a guy that didnt fold too often. He eventually went broke and I won all my money back plus $100. Basically, what Im saying is that he's not a great player and liked to show some trash down.

When he flat called my raise I put him on a queen and was ready to let the hand go until I hit that king. Then I figured my top pair was good, but I didnt wanna push it too far so I just called him down. If anything, I should have played the hand more aggressively and raised the hell outta him when that king fell because my read was right on. I gave him no reason to think he was behind so maybe instead i should have just raised his river bet to 20. But like I said I wasnt too confident after losing my last big pot with him and I didnt wanna get all in again with a pair of kings.

As for preflop, its 6 max and I dont play the game like a little girl, so thats just my style. Its profitable to be a little unpredictable and sure as hell not as boring as waiting for AA KK AK. Of course, as my first hand shows, I still have plenty of room for improvement using this aggression but overall its working out.

As for the first hand, that is a good point. - why would someone smooth call the flop and then raise my huge bet on the turn? Couldnt have been anything less than a monster. Still a hard hand to lay down though.

KJ is still not a hand you reraise with. Even short handed it's very easy to have that hand dominated.

As for the play on the flop/4th with that hand, you should ask yourself why you are calling/raising to draw to a hand that may or may not be the best hand and then when you actually hit your best case scenario three outer you play it like a pussy.

Either draw to the hand and bet when you make your hand or don't draw at all. The latter is definitely the best play.

You could be drawing dead to running jacks vs KQ. That's not the kind of situation I like to be in.

I wasnt drawing to a 3 outter I was just trying to push him off the pot. His PF raise was so weak, come on Im not gonna limp in or fold to that shit instead I attacked that weakness. Its not like he made a respectable 4-5x BB PF raise.
But I already said that it was a mistake to bluff at this guy because he wasnt bluffable.

After that, I was very comfortable just calling down once I happened to hit a piece of the board. I didnt want to get all in, but I sure as hell wasnt folding to $10 bets when I put him on that queen.

Calling someone down is not a pussy play every time.
