You could've made money had you bet on the flop, because then you'd know what he is playing with. Keep up the betting on turn and river, and hopefully he folds and doesn't suspect anything.

So, wait did he fold AA? Or did he think you had AA?

Yea, I should have, but I honestly was planning on raising him hard if he bet pot sized or less because for like 40 hands in a row ive bet the pot on the flop no matter what and taken it, so I changed it up a little bit here.

Now that I think about it, you are right - I finally get a good hand and didnt do anything with it. The guy was really tight so I could say that I played the hand somewhat pussily. I cant believe I gave him a free card.

I think he meant my aces are good.

Why did you check on the flop?

I wanted to change it up a little bit that's all. But I think I picked the wrong time to do this. I was expecting him to bet, then I could raise him and either get put all in (Id fold most likely) or sweeten the pot with his lower pair or take it right on the flop.

    Anyways, my river bet?
