Default I induce an all-in bluff with table talk. Ha.

This guy was getting mad and accusing me of muscling too many pots and for being too aggressive. He said that i deserve to lose and stuff like that. Well the next hand I did this. Pretty funny stuff.

OH and the hand right before this he was raggin on me for raising, so I raised it again and bet him off the pot. Now, this hand I do the same. It would have been more exciting if he had a lot of money but thats ok.

Bluff? He had a monster draw!!

As an aside, I've seen many LAgg posts from you lately. How are you faring overall in ring games? I know pots like these are sweet justice against tilted weak/tights, but how often do they have the goods and rope-a-dope your BR away from you? That's the worst part about Lagging it up for me -- I get killed by smooth callers with sets and such, especially after repping strength preflop. Checking the turn after getting smoothcalled on the flop is just so weak, and if you do it habitually, and fold to a big bet, then the smooth call/bet big strategy essentially reduces you to a money-vomiting fisherman. Most likely -- I just suck. However, I'm interested to hear how you deal with the smooth callers.

Smooth callers just kill me. I usually just check it on the turn if I dont have anything and let them take the pot like a weakass. I wish rippy would post more of his ring game tales, its very good stuff.

My strategy - If I start getting smooth called more, Ill slow down for a bit, try to catch something, and then bet at em. Someone will usually think Im bluffing and call down with pocket 8s. If I get decent hands, Im still raising preflop so it wont really look like Im sitting there camping.

Overall in ring games, im doing alright - ive had some big swings lately both up and down. Mostly, the downs are from me not giving up on a pot or realizing that I need to slow down too late after everyone has caught on. Id say Im doing slightly better since the 50NL tables are so tight it was hard to get anything paid off camping. Hopefully this will start workin out a little better for me. Ive also learned that even I need to fold some hands lol.

on this hand, when I'm playing lag.. even if the table is onto me people don't re-raise with garbage usually. I will let it go on the flop when this happens. however it helped that u hit your out and won a nice pot. i bet you'll lose money over time calling bets like this and then betting big on the turn again.

Yea you're right...but its so tempting to chase for a small bet with bad odds when I know they are just dying to pay me off

OH and umm one more thing I forgot to add. I also knew that I couldnt keep folding every time someon reraised me on the flop because then everyone would be taking shots at me, which was starting to happen at that pont.

In fact, just as I was typing - this happened:

I love this play. When I'm playing LAGG this is my move. Within 15mins people will be seeing your crap and start playing at you. This is when you playback. It's even better when you do this and show them. Do that once and you OWN THE TABLE. Last time I was really playing NLHE I got up to a $800 stack on my table playing LAGG and people were literally falling at my feet to give me their money.
